Günni is the man where it all began. Former IT manager at a large German internet company – now prefers to be offline on India's roads. After a year in India, it was clear: the keyboard was exchanged for the motorcycle handlebar. Since then, he has been designing, testing, and planning tours across the country with passion.
When he's not testing new routes in the mountains or by the sea, he's writing roadbooks or drinking chai with locals. Or both at the same time.
Abdul Ahad Khan

Abdul is the heart of our team on-site. Growing up in Srinagar, he was drawn to the mountains as a teenager – first as a trekking guide, later as a certified mountain guide. Over 350 treks, altitudes up to 7,350 meters – Abdul knows the Himalayas like others know their backyard.
Since 2003, he has been ensuring everything runs smoothly on-site at Wheel of India – with experience, humor, and an incredible calm that immediately relaxes any nervous motorcyclist.
Negin Jafari Karizi
Digital Marketing & Future CEO
Negin was long our "good spirit in Iran" – now she lives in Germany and takes care of everything digital at Wheel of India: website, social media, online communication. With a clear vision, a fine sense for language and design – and a plan: she will eventually succeed Günni.
Those who know her say: calm, structured, creative – and always warm-hearted. Someone who makes you feel immediately at ease.
Rouf Khan

Rouf is Abdul's son – and you can immediately tell he's following in his father's footsteps. Already accompanying Himalayan treks as a child, he is now a passionate motorcyclist and tour guide.
Rouf has this special mix: he's reliable, knowledgeable, always has a smile on his face – and delights our guests with his open nature and joy of traveling.
Aqib Khan

Aqib is also a son of Abdul – and our youngest guide in the team. What he lacks in years, he makes up for with commitment, riding skills, and a fine sense for his guests.
He loves motorcycles, knows the roads and paths like the back of his hand, and is always there when something needs explaining, helping, or organizing. A real asset to every trip.
