Who we are – and why travel with us

Wheel of India stands for motorcycle journeys far from mass tourism – personally guided, authentic, with passion and decades of experience. For over 20 years, we've been taking people on two wheels to places where India reveals its true face: breathtaking Himalayan passes, tropical forests, deserts, tea plantations, and vibrant cultural landscapes.

What makes us special is our close connection to the country and its people. We work with a carefully grown network of local partners, know our routes, accommodations and contacts personally – and value genuine, respectful encounters with the cultures we travel through.

We ride in small groups. No big convoys, no anonymous service – just a shared journey on equal footing, led by a team that puts their heart into what they do. Many of our guests return. Some travel with us for the third, fourth, or even fifth time.
