Günter (Günni) Schiele
Founder & CEO
Günni is the man who started it all. Once head of IT at a major German internet company – now he prefers to be offline on the roads of India. After spending a year in India, it was clear: the keyboard had to make way for the handlebar. Since then, he’s been crafting, testing and organizing motorcycle tours across the country with passion.
If he’s not exploring new routes in the mountains or by the sea, you’ll find him writing roadbooks or drinking chai with locals – or both at the same time.
Abdul Ahad Khan
Partner & Director India
Abdul is the heart of our on-the-ground team. He grew up in Srinagar and was drawn to the mountains early on – first as a trekking guide, later as a certified mountain leader. Over 350 treks and altitudes up to 7,350 meters – Abdul knows the Himalayas like others know their backyard.
Since 2003, he’s been making sure everything runs smoothly at Wheel of India – with experience, humor, and a calm presence that instantly puts even the most anxious riders at ease.
Negin Jafari Karizi
Design and Social Media
Negin was for many years our “guiding spirit” in Iran. Today she lives in Germany and is responsible for our presence across various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) as well as for everything related to visual design and appearance.
Rouf Khan
Tour Guide in India
Rouf is Abdul’s son – and it’s immediately clear he’s following in his father’s footsteps. He grew up joining treks in the Himalayas, and today he’s a passionate motorcyclist and tour guide.
Rouf has that special mix: he’s reliable, knowledgeable, always smiling – and wins over our guests with his open nature and love of the road.
Aqib Khan
Tour Guide in India
Aqib is also one of Abdul’s sons – and our youngest guide on the team. What he may lack in years, he more than makes up for with dedication, riding skills, and a great sense for our guests.
He loves motorcycles, knows the roads and trails inside out, and is always ready to explain, help, or organize whatever is needed. In short: a real asset to every tour.
